What is Electronic Waste?.

"The United Nations (UN) defines e-waste as any discarded product with a battery or plug, and features toxic and hazardous substances such as mercury, that can pose severe risk to human and environmental health".

E-waste, or electronic waste, refers to discarded electrical or electronic equipment like phones, computers, and appliances that are at the end of their life, broken, or obsolete, containing valuable materials but also hazardous substances like lead and mercury, posing significant health and environmental risks if not properly managed.
